Shipping Policy
Shipping & Logistics
Global delivery from my studio in Curaçao to your collection.
Because of the monumental scale and the heavy, industrial nature of my canvases, I handle logistics with "White Glove" precision. My goal is to ensure that the raw energy and integrity of the work arrive in perfect condition, no matter where in the world you are.
1. Secure Global Dispatch
I
ship exclusively via DHL Express to provide the fastest and most secure transit from the Caribbean to the rest of the world.
-
Fully Tracked: You will receive a tracking number the moment the work leaves my studio.
-
Estimated Delivery: Usually 5–10 business days once dispatched.
2. Archival Rolling for Protection
To protect the thick, textured acrylic layers and the heavy industrial fibers, all large-scale works are shipped rolled.
-
The Process: The painting is wrapped in acid-free glassine paper and secured inside a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant archival tube.
-
Why Roll? This is the safest way to transport large-scale art across oceans. It prevents the canvas from sagging, cracking, or suffering frame damage during transit.
-
Final Setup: Upon arrival, your local professional framer can easily "gallery stretch" the work onto a wooden frame.
3. Customs & Duties
Original artwork is generally Duty-Free in many countries, including the USA (under HTS Code 9701.10.00).
-
Please Note: While the art itself is often exempt, the buyer is responsible for any local VAT, GST, or administrative customs fees required by their specific country.
4. Shipping Rates & Insurance
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the dimensions and destination.
-
Rates: Usually range from $300 to $850 USD for monumental pieces.
-
Insurance: Every shipment is fully insured for the purchase price. Your investment is 100% protected from the moment it leaves my hands until it reaches yours.
5. 7-Day Inspection & Returns
I want the work to resonate in your space. I offer a 7-day inspection period from the date of delivery.
-
Condition: Returns are only accepted if the painting is returned in its original, rolled, and un-stretched condition.
-
Note: Once the canvas has been stretched, mounted, or framed by the collector, the return policy is void, as the original tension and state of the material have been altered.
