Refund & return Policy

My goal is for you to feel the power and soul of the work in your space. If the connection isn't right, here is how we handle returns.

1. The 7-Day Inspection Period

From the moment DHL delivers your artwork, you have 7 days to fall in love with it. If you decide the piece is not right for your collection, you must notify me via email within this 7-day window to initiate a return.

2. Condition for Returns (The "Unstretched" Rule)

To be eligible for a refund, the artwork must be returned in the exact condition it was received.

  • Must be Rolled: Because I ship my large-scale works rolled for safety, they must be returned rolled in the original archival tube.

  • The "Point of No Return": Once the canvas has been stretched, mounted, or framed by you or your local framer, the artwork is considered "altered." I cannot accept returns or offer refunds on any work that has been stretched or framed. ### 3. Return Shipping & Costs

  • The Buyer’s Responsibility: The cost of insured return shipping is the responsibility of the collector.

  • Safe Passage: The refund will only be processed once the artwork has arrived back at my studio in Curaçao and has been inspected to ensure it is undamaged.

  • Original Shipping: Original shipping costs paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

4. Damaged Shipments

In the rare event that your artwork arrives damaged due to the shipping process:

  • Please take photos of the damaged tube and the canvas immediately.

  • Contact me within 24 hours of delivery so I can open an insurance claim with DHL.

  • In these cases, you will be fully covered, and we will arrange for a replacement or a full refund.

5. Custom Commissions

Please note that all custom-commissioned artworks are final sale. Because these are created specifically for your vision and story, they cannot be returned or refunded.
